Nate Gardner is the Training Manager for the Stowe Mountain Resort Ski and Snowboard School, in Stowe, Vermont, a Professional Ski Instructors of America Examiner and member of the PSIA Eastern Division Demo Team with a bid to be a member of the PSIA National Team in April 2021.
Nate was born in Ohio, but raised in Vermont when his family moved to Stowe when he was 12. Staying close to home for college, Nate his ski teaching career while also being a 4 year starter for the Men’s Soccer Team and earning a degree in Psychology. Nate joined the PSIA Ed Staff in 2008 and made Examiner in 2016. He has been a member of the Eastern Demo Team since 2010 and was a candidate for the National Team in 2012.
Nate now lives just north of Stowe with his wife, two boys, 1 dog, and a bunch of layer hens. His passions outside of skiing are in CrossFit, where he is a Level 1 Coach, Cycling, and Fly Fishing. He loves both introducing the sport of skiing to new participants and helping experienced instructors reach their own goals to be better skiers and better teachers.
