Myles Silverman

Myles has been on snow since the age of one where he started out as a skier, then at the age of six he made the switch over to snowboarding and pursued both sports.

At age eleven Myles found out he had a talent for snowboarding as he started to win nearly all of the competitions he attended, so Myles and his father made the decision that if he was to pursue the dream of making the Olympics, he’d have to train full time.

At the age of fourteen Myles enrolled in Steamboat Mountain School in Steamboat Springs, CO competing and training with SSWSC. During that time his riding took a massive leap.

In 2015, Myles was named to the United States Snowboard Racing Team, as well as being one of three U.S. Juniors sent to compete at the 2015 FIS Junior World Championships. In the years to follow Myles was able to compete at two more FIS Junior World Championships, placing Top 20 in one of them, and remain a part of the United States Snowboard Racing Team.

On his my path to the Olympics, Myles made a detour to attain his college degree. Currently enrolled at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, Myles will be majoring in Media and Society.

At school, Myles continues his snowboarding journey earning First-Team All American and won 2x USCSA National Champion in GS and SL. He hopes to compete for the United States in either the 2022 and or 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
